Centre for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS)

The Centre for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS) at the University of Basel is an interdisciplinary institute for research and continuing professional development specialising in the non-profit sector. It was founded in 2008 on the initiative of SwissFoundations, the association of Swiss grant-making foundations, and is a university-based think tank focusing on the diverse field of philanthropy.

The Department of Sport, Exercise and Health (DSBG) at the University of Basel combines teaching, research and service provision in the fields of sport and exercise medicine, sport science, and exercise and training science.
