Pro Senectute in both Basel cantons has launched a pioneering project: the hire of e-rickshaws for active older people and their relatives. This enables
different generations, regardless of their physical condition, to enjoy carefree trips together in our region.
The project is already up and running at five locations and is being expanded on an ongoing basis. All hire stations are easily accessible by public transport. One e-rickshaw is available at each station.
The hire price is 20 francs per day. Reservations for the e-rickshaws can be made by telephone directly with the hire stations.
