How the first point of contact for matters relating to older people is funded
For over 100 years, this charitable foundation has been working as a private non-profit organisation to promote the wellbeing, safety and independence of older people. This would not be possible without donations and grants.
A significant proportion of Pro Senectute beider Basel’s funding must be covered by contributions such as donations and bequests. This is the only way to ensure that older people continue to receive support in the future and can always rely on Pro Senectute beider Basel as a strong partner. Other sources of funding include income from services and service agreements with the federal government, the canton and local authorities.
