It’s hard to believe, but even in our immediate neighbourhood there are older people who don’t have enough money to cover even small everyday expenses.
Poverty amongst the elderly is often hidden in Switzerland – and for those affected, it brings worries, limitations and sometimes even a sense of shame. With your donation, we can provide practical help to older people in financial distress.
We give them shopping vouchers worth CHF 50 so that, in a difficult situation, they can afford something that others take for granted. A small shop, something urgently needed, or simply the freedom to choose for themselves: CHF 50 can mean a great deal at just the right moment. Please
