“It’s running like clockwork.”
We’re happy to make your life easier and take care of all the work involved before, during and after a move. This was certainly the case on a lovely, sunny April morning in Baselland. We interviewed Mrs Marcelline G. whilst she was moving house: we sat relaxed on the sofa amidst empty cupboards and shelves. Surrounded by the hard-working staff from our partner company, Mrs Marcelline G. told us about her experiences and impressions.
Ms G., how did you find out about our removal service?
Mrs Marcelline G: “I’ve been a customer of Pro Senectute in both Basel cantons for a long time. I’ve attended courses, including fitness classes, and I receive your leaflet twice a year listing all your offers and services. That’s how I found out about the removal service. Whilst planning my move, I rang Ms Caroline Svoboda and she came round with a member of staff from Casa Hirsbrunner. Straight after our conversation, I received a fantastic quote. I have to say quite openly and honestly that no other company offered me such a competitive quote as Pro Senectute beider Basel. The best thing about it is that all the items I no longer want aren’t simply thrown away! They’re sorted through by the staff and passed on. So anything that might still be of use is donated to people in need in Basel and the surrounding area. This is also part of the service and is included in the price. It’s really brilliant!”
What do you like best about it?
Mrs Marcelline G.: “At first I thought it was only for older people. However, I was wrong: anyone can contact Pro Senectute in both Basel cantons if they’re moving house, clearing out a property or need something disposed of. It’s for everyone, and everything’s included in the flat-rate price. I’m very impressed. My daughter is also delighted with this service.»
